Since 2022, Marine Consulting has launched an ambitious Research and Development program, running until 2027, with investments amounting to hundreds of thousands of euros to design innovative operating procedures and equipment capable of working at depths of hundreds of meters, both at sea and, above all, in inland waters (dams).

The program focuses in particular on the maintenance of bottom outlets and regulated spillway gates, also responding to the incentives of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) aimed at the upgrading of hydraulic infrastructure.

At the end of the project, the Company plans to:

• expand the organizational structure of personnel dedicated to Research and Development;
• strengthen internal technical and theoretical know-how in order to be more competitive on the market for this type of operation;
• enhance the warehouse with strategic, certified, and protected equipment, specifically designed for these complex operations.
